I often feel like the start of the school year is the start of a new year, but every year on December 31st, I join scores of people all over the world to usher in a new year. This year, I celebrated by eating grapes in Seville as the clock struck midnight to assure me 12 months of good luck.
However you celebrated the start of 2011, I wish you a year that’s filled with joy and good health. And if you’re a teacher like I am, I hope that semester 2 is even better than semester 1 and that you continue to find the inspiration and courage to be great.
