BLOSSOMS

BLOSSOMS (http://blossoms.mit.edu/default.htm) stands for Blended Learning Open Source Science or Math Studies. It is a project sponsored by MIT LINC (see http://blossoms.mit.edu/about.html for more info). The project is meant to provide a free repository of videos created by educators from around the world. To start off, videos are being created by educators at MIT, in Jordan, and in Pakistan. Videos created in one language often have subtitles in other languages. The streaming seems a bit slow on the website but the videos can be downloaded before use. The video formats are not all uniform; in my perusal of the website, I found videos in flv and mov formats. The website uses a creative commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license.
